Manoir Forging Solutions boosts R&D

Manoir Forging Solutions hired Régis Bigot to consolidate its R&D team, affirming its role as a significant actor for forged products.

Professor in ENSAM, specialist in product development and material innovation, Régis joined the team of the Bouzonville and Custines plants in December 2013.
This dynamic contributor successfully worked for more than 6 years in collaboration with Manoir on operational projects such as ‘’OPALE’’ for the Custines’ring rolling mill and ‘’COMETH’’ in Bouzonville for hot contactless dimensional control and the associated heat treatment. To meet furture customer requirements, his mission today is to integrate new processes and methodologies for short, middle and long term framework innovations dedicated to the forging process.

This reinforced R&D organization strengthens synergies with universities, research centers and the Materalia competitive cluster.

Regis’s mission is in line with Manoir Forging Solutions project to improve high quality, customer service and cost savings. Régis Bigot’s recruitment is a key step in the ambitious development of the Manoir Forging Solutions.
