Last August, Manoir Pîtres completely changed its installation of gas supply, transfer and distribution (oxygen – argon) and its associated piloting, as well as the supervision of the AOD (Argon – Oxygen – Degazing) formulation command.
More than revamping, it is the implementation of a new mode of production including specialized software to calculate and propose the addition and flow of gas to obtain thin steels.
It offers the real opportunities for the nuclear and off-shore oil market applications. This investment is part of an overall optimization of the industrial gas consumption of Manoir Pîtres to guarantee competitiveness and to ensure the maximum quality of steels.
Manoir Industries, an international metal processing casting and forging group, develops proprietary alloys and manufactures high performance metal components molded and forged for the petrochemical, nuclear, oil&gas, civil engineering, energy, defense and construction markets.
