Manoir Industries and its customer Velan have been awarded a strategic contract to provide cast valve components for the secondary circuit of the Leningrad 2 power plant, located 70 km west of St. Petersburg, closed to the Gulf of Finland.
These valve bodies classified in security level are manufactured in steel and stainless steel at the Manoir Pîtres plant. With its nuclear expertise in all international standards and its new shareholder Taihai, who is the civil nuclear leading foundry/forging in China, Manoir Industries is in a position to deliver cast and forged nuclear components from 1 kg to over 100 tons in the world.
Manoir Industries and its customer Velan have been successfully certified to the Russian nuclear market having about 30 nuclear plants.
