Manoir Industries invests in new control and testing equipment for forged and finished components and increases overall machining capacity.
The Bouzonville facility has recently installed a “state of the art” hardness measuring machine, enabling the testing of heavier forged components in multiple locations while limiting the handling of the heavy forgings. Well established with customers with stringent requirements, such as Oil and Gas “Subsea” – extraction of hydrocarbons from the seabed – this new equipment is particularly suited to control complex components.
The facility will also set up in the coming months two new horizontal lathes, a machining center, and a large size Zeiss coordinate measuring machine. These new equipment will enable Manoir Bonzonville to continue increasing machining capacity and ensure a better final control of the finished products manufactured.
After the acquisition of Manoir Gears® in 2014, this new investment is the next stepping stone in Manoir Forging Solutions development strategy, with a continuous focus on high requirement applications and the supply of turnkey forged components.
Manoir Industries, an international metal processing casting and forging group, develops proprietary alloys and manufactures high performance metal components molded and forged for the petrochemical, nuclear, oil extraction, civil engineering, energy, defense and construction markets. The solid expertise reputation has driven sustainable position through the worldwide industry and its customers.
