Pîtres’ very first commercial success

In the 1950s, the Pitres site was at the forefront in the development of special steels, thanks to a state-of-the-art plant, including furnace, molding and control equipment at the time.

This allowed the factory to take the first OHIO STEEL license for furnace equipment.

This first commercial success allowed the development in the petrochemical market among which the supply of cast plug headers for refinery furnaces.
